As Skateboarders and Surfers Maverick started slacklining as a fun way to improve our balance but very quickly it has become firmly ingrained in their culture and lifestyle. Slacklining seems to all intents and purposes a relative of tightrope walking and if you think you had seen it all when it comes to that you may want to think again.
This is like tightrope walking in synchronicity but with a whole lot of bouncing thrown in for good measure!
The Maverick Slackline Team are gaining a quite considerable following in the UK – for obvious reasons – and have recently appeared on the TV show Live ‘N’ Deadly. You can learn more about them and their slacklining adventures at their website.
